For Sale: Traynor YBA-1 Head and YT-15 Cabinet, matching pair.

I bought this matching head and cab used, but I believe they were originally purchased as a pair in the mid to late seventies. Yorkville may be able to tell you the exact year if you email them the serial numbers. The pair is very heavy, built "like they used to" and loud, with some very nice crunch (I used it with guitar more often than bass). Both 15" drivers in the cabinet were replaced by me last year with original Yorkville replacements. No missing knobs or plates, no major chips or rips. Normal 30 year old wear and tear applies. Cab has wheels on the side for easy (well, not EASY, but easiER) moving. Head has a grounded 3-prong plug.

This amp is an excellent candidate for the "Traynor Tweaks". See http://www.kilback.net for TONNES of info on tweaking the YBA-1 head.

Check out the pics below (click to open full size in a new window) and drop me an email (seancb@hotmail.com) if you are interested in purchasing it (or coming to see/hear it first).
